At our practice, we use exclusively the FUE method and implant the gathered FU's (follicular units) using fine injection needles.

The diameter of extraction instruments especially made for our own use in the practice mostly lies between 22 und 20 Gauge and this corresponds to an external diameter between 0.7 mm and 0.9 mm. The size of the implantation needle mostly lies between 23 and 21 Gauge and this corresponds to an external diameter ranging between 0.6 and 0.8 mm (please also refer to Data & technical details !)
