- The maximum number of grafts that can be transplanted per day in a patient with good donor- qualities is 800 grafts.
- Maximum density that can be realized is around 80 grafts per square centimeter. When the patient desires to have a much higher density, this can be done during a later session, although, as a rule, this is not necessary.
- Extraction instruments:
- Fine extraction needle, which is especially made for the purpose, has a diameter ranging mostly between 0.7 mm and 0.9 mm (22 and 20 Gauge).
- For this matter, a needle clip appropriate for this tiny size is used.
Samples of our extraction needles, compared in a cross section. The right sided 0.6- needle is a special needle, reserved to the finest single grafts in the very front of a hairline.

- Implantation of grafts:
Fine injection needles, mostly have a gauge between 23 and 21 (this corresponds to a diameter ranging between 0.6 and 0.8 mm).
